Teams based on experience
Okinawa Aquamarine’s Private Group Fun Diving tour offers guided dives for certified divers. Charter the boat with your group and explore the waters around Kerama and Chibishi with just your friends or fellow divers.
This tour works well for company outings, dive clubs, dive shop trips, and diving vacations with friends.
With no other guests on board, we can divide your group into teams based on experience and skills, so you can dive at a pace that suits your group.
If your group includes newly certified divers or anyone returning after a break, we check their gear and review basic skills before diving.
Great for These Groups
- Dive clubs and dive shop trips
- Company outings with certified divers
- Friends who want to dive together in the Kerama Islands
- Groups with different experience levels and numbers of logged dives
- Groups with newly certified divers or divers returning after a break
- Groups that want a boat just for themselves
3 Reasons to Choose Our Private Group Fun Diving Tour
① A Private Boat for Up to 18 Divers
Our standard group size is 10–18 divers.
Groups of fewer than 10 can also charter the boat by paying for 10 guests.
With no other guests on board, your group can relax together during the boat ride and between dives.
It’s a good option for company outings, dive clubs, and dive shop trips.
② Teams Based on Experience
We divide your group into teams based on group size, diving experience, and skills, and guide each team with safety in mind.
If newly certified and experienced divers join the same trip, we arrange teams so each can enjoy dives suited to their level.
If you feel nervous about diving after a break, we review gear use and basic skills before entering the water.
③ Snorkel While Waiting for Your Turn
Instead of having everyone dive at once, we divide your group into smaller teams based on the number of divers and available staff.
Each team gets ready and takes turns diving with our staff.
While other teams are diving, you can snorkel in the clear Kerama Blue waters.

Fun Diving Trip Options
Half-Day Trip — 2 Dives (Morning 9:30 AM–12:30 PM / Afternoon 2:00–5:00 PM)
Enjoy the waters around Kerama and Chibishi even if your travel schedule is tight.
This morning or afternoon trip includes two guided dives.
It can also be a good way to make the most of your arrival day in Okinawa.
Full-Day Trip — 2 Dives (10:00 AM–3:00 PM)
Enjoy two guided dives with more time to relax between them.
Between dives, you can rest on board or snorkel if you are feeling well and sea conditions allow.
A good choice if you want a relaxed day at sea with time between dives.
Full-Day Trip — 3 Dives (10:00 AM–3:00 PM)
A good option if you want to spend a full day diving around Kerama and Chibishi.
Visit several sites and see the different coral, tropical fish, and underwater scenery at each one.
The third dive may not be available, depending on sea conditions and the day’s schedule.

Tour Schedule (Half-Day Trip)
Check in at the meeting point, where we ask about your health and how you are feeling that day.
We also fit you with the right gear.
Once everyone is ready, we head toward the Kerama Islands.
We choose the dive site based on the day’s sea conditions.
After a boat ride of about 20–30 minutes, we arrive at our first site. Before entering the water, we review gear use, breathing, and safety guidelines.
We make sure newly certified divers understand the briefing.
We divide your group into teams based on the number of divers and available staff, then guide each team on their dives.
While other teams are diving, you can snorkel following our staff’s guidance.
Enjoy the clear Kerama Blue waters from the surface as well.
After diving, we return to Naha by boat.
You can use the shower on board and check your photos.
After arriving, you can change clothes before heading off.
The full-day trip normally meets at 9:30 AM and runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Times can be adjusted.
Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation fees apply if you cancel your private group tour.
If your group size drops to 9 or fewer, the minimum charge remains the rate for 10 guests.
- 32+ days before the tour: 0%
- 15–31 days before the tour: 50%
- 8–14 days before: 70%
- 2–7 days before: 80%
- 1 day before: 90%
- On the day: 100%
No cancellation fee applies if we cancel the tour because of bad weather.
Changes or Cancellations Due to Weather and Sea Conditions
We may still run the tour on rainy days if the wind, waves, and other sea conditions are safe.
If strong winds or high waves make the trip unsafe, we may change the area, activities, or departure time, or cancel the tour.
The captain and crew make the final decision based on safety and the day’s conditions.
If there are any changes, we will contact your group organizer.
Flying After Diving
You cannot fly immediately after diving.
Flying too soon after diving increases the risk of decompression sickness because of residual nitrogen in your body and the lower cabin pressure.
When planning your Okinawa trip, please avoid diving on the day you fly home.
For dives within no-decompression limits, the recommended minimum wait before flying is 12 hours after a single dive, or 18 hours after multiple dives in one day or diving over several days.
Allow extra time when planning your flights and diving schedule.
